It can be difficult understanding the Silicon Valley or the startup scene being an outsider. So here are some resources that may help you get accumulated. This page will be updated as time goes by.
One of the best. Most of eCorner podcasts are entrepreneurs who share their journey. You’ll learn what others have gone through, how they got to where they are, their vision for their companies, and what they’re doing now. Lots of advice will be gained from listening to these.
This blog/podcast is an absolute must to stay up to date on industry trends and projections. On this, Ben Horowitz’s The Hard Thing About Hard Things is an amazing book to understand what a startup experience can be like.
Traction by Gabriel Weinberg and Justin Mares gives you an overview of some of the strategies to pick when devising your marketing strategy and growth hacking tactics.

Most major cities today will have an incubator. For example, Chicago has 1871, Tampa has WaVE, Austin has Capital Factory, etc. Think of these places as a coworking space that (usually) give you access to advisors and networking events.
